Okay, so, I'm reading Urban Tulsa Weekly and I see this little bitty article about Leadership Tulsa. Seems a "futurist" is going to be the keynote presenter and present his predictions and such. Then there will be more meetings for Tulsa leaders to respond to the predictions. I find this idea intriguing......a man who holds a masters in future studies. How do you get a grade in that....do you make predictions, wait a specific length of time, and then receive a grade on the degree of accuracy to them? You can't really have a lot of documentation to deal with because it's all in the future. I don't know, there has to be more to it. This merits investigation. Especially since I'm stymied by my recent studies! Maybe I should take a futurist approach to them and make predictions regarding the probable trends in my future.....depending on the response I get from others as they consider my predictions, I may save myself a lot of trouble OR I may realize new and exciting possibilities. Hmmmmm. This is really intriguing, I wish I were a Tulsa Leader so I could hear him for myself. I think this guy has a pretty cool gig going....
